What We Do

Three jobs, done properly

Most brokers pass paper. We read the solicitation, price the line, and stay on it until the pallet is on your dock.

Sourcing & Brokering

We match your line items to manufacturers who can genuinely produce them to spec — right pack size, right label, right certification — instead of quoting something close and hoping it passes.

  • Vendor identification and vetting
  • Spec reconciliation and substitutions
  • Sample coordination

Bid & Contract Support

Solicitation review, line-item pricing, unit-of-measure reconciliation, required forms, and on-time submission — for county, state, federal, and institutional invitations to bid.

  • RFB, RFQ, and IFB response
  • Negotiation and award follow-through
  • Contract fulfillment tracking

Delivered Cost & Logistics

An FOB price is only half an answer. We model freight lanes, pallet configuration, lead times, and storage so the number you sign is the number you pay.

  • FOB vs. delivered cost modeling
  • Lead-time and release scheduling
  • Carrier and cold-chain coordination

A note on how we work: Legacy Four Solutions is a brokerage and sourcing firm. We do not own or operate a manufacturing facility and we do not produce food ourselves. Every item above is manufactured by an established, audited partner plant — our job is to know exactly who can make what, hold them to your specification, and stand behind the delivery.

Why A Broker

We're not a plant. That's the advantage.

A manufacturer sells you what it already makes. A broker finds you what you actually need. Because we aren't tied to one production line, we can put your specification in front of the plant best equipped to hit it — on quality, on certification, and on price.

And because we came up in the Marine Corps, we treat a delivery date the way we treated a mission window.

Legacy Four Solutions

Est. 2025
Founded in Virginia Beach by a 24-year United States Marine Corps veteran. Small on purpose — you deal with the owner.

Our Manufacturing Partners

Since 1947
Our primary partner plant has been producing food for nearly eight decades. That history is theirs, not ours — what we bring is access to it.
500,000
Meals per week of partner plant capacity we can draw on, with surge capability for emergency and disaster response. Legacy Four places the order; the partner plant manufactures it.

Process

How an order actually moves

Send us the requirement

A bid packet, a spreadsheet, a spec sheet, or a phone call. If you only have half of it, that's fine — we'll tell you which questions the solicitation left unanswered before they cost you an award.

We source and price the line

We identify which partner plants can meet the specification, confirm current pricing and lead time, and reconcile pack sizes and units of measure so every line is comparable.

You get a delivered number

Not an FOB teaser. Freight, pallet configuration, storage, and lead time are built in, with any assumptions stated plainly so you can defend the number internally.

We stay on it through delivery

Award, purchase order, production, release, and receipt. One point of contact from quote to dock — and a straight answer if something slips.

Have a bid on your desk?

Send it over. We'll tell you what we can quote, what we can't, and what the solicitation forgot to ask for — at no cost to you.
